The conventions of politeness on USENET. Many relate to the niceties
of posting messages in Newsgroups; for examples, advertising beef
products in alt.food.vegan is a clear breach of netiquette.

A Network Operating System developed by NOVELL.

NOS / Network Operating System
A software that (a)controls a network and its message traffic and
queues. (b)controls access by multiple users to network resource
such as files, and (c)provides for certain administrative functions,
including security. This network operating system is most frequently
used with LAN and WAN, but could also have application to larger
network systems.

NS / Name Server
